ADOBE On September 1, 2011 the SUNY Adobe CLP agreement renewal #4400264887 was awarded through the Misc. software contract due to the advantageous pricing. UBMicro is no longer an approved reseller on that contract. UBMicro did have stock on certain licenses that we sold through past September 1st. That stock has been depleted and now we are directing all SUNY campuses, including the University at Buffalo, to the current contract. The current State contract #79518, award #21961 includes three resellers as follows: Dell Marketing LP: PT65191 SHI International Corp: PT65193 MBE EnPointe Technologies Sales Inc.: PT65192 Contract details can be found here. Microsoft Campus Agreement UBMicro will continue to serve as a reseller on the SUNY Microsoft Campus Agreement PA 04226 effective through 9/30/2013. UBMicro is only authorized to sell the annual campus agreement within SUNY. For more information on renewing your agreement or participating in the SUNY-Wide Microsoft consortium, please email Cheri Weber at ubmcheri@buffalo.edu, or call (716) 645-3885. The next enrollment date is October 1, 2012. Purchase orders must be received by August 15, 2012 to participate. Distribution of work-at-home media or student options is available through e-academy. For non-campus agreement Microsoft pricing: Under state and SUNY contract guidelines, UBMicro only sells the campus agreement, which is an annual campus-wide enterprise agreement. Below are approved sources for procuring Microsoft products that are not being deployed campus-wide. Primary Option: Individual Microsoft licenses are available off the New York State Contract through Dell, the contract holder. These are Microsoft Select program licenses and are up to 30% lower priced than Microsoft Open Licenses previously available at UBMicro. Academic Select contract number is 01S62996 A school enrollment form may be required Information is available at the NYS Website Alternate Options if product is not available through Dell Select contract: Under NY State and SUNY contract guidelines, SUNY campuses should use the NYS OGS Misc software contract #79518 to procure necessary software licensing for your campus or department. Logisoft, a private company based in Fairport, NY, sells academic software and other products at aggressive pricing. They are easy to do business with and have a high level of customer service. Logisoft is NOT on the miscelaneous software contract and should be used for purchases outside of those contracts. E-academy will also configure a custom store-front for your school to distribute your work at home rights via ESD or DVD using their onthehub.com website.
